Learning and experimenting with essential oils has enabled me to enjoy improved health. My dear friend gave me some training tapes by Gary Young in March, 2002. I ordered the Essential Seven oils and began using them as directed. I ordered books and video tapes from Essential Science and continue to want to learn more. I have ordered product each month and enjoy the good feelings that come from therapeutic grade essential oils!

I had broken my ankle about 1 year previous to getting acquainted with Young Living Essential Oils. The weekend I received my Essential 7 Kit I fell down the last 3 stairs at my brother-in-laws. I could not put weight on my foot and thought I had broken it again. My brother-in-law and husband carried me to the davenport. This was the chance to try these essential oils! We applied the PanAway all around my ankle, and within moments I was able to put weight on my foot and walk around. I was amazed! It was still sore and I continued to use the PanAway twice a day, morning and evening for 2 weeks. That was almost 9 years ago and I have not had any difficulty since. We love our Young Living Essential oils and recommend everyone to begin with the Essential 7 Kit.

The first time I used peppermint is when two of my children ate too much holloween candy and were vomiting. A drop of peppermint rubbed over their tummies stopped the vomiting.
A few years later we were hit bad with some kind of terrible stomach flu that caused everyone in my home to vomit until they were so tired and drained we just wanted to die. Finally I took out the peppermint and applied it to every tummy and we got immediate relief from the vomiting and were able to rest and fall asleep and recover. Thank goodness for peppermint oil.

I am a believer! My son gets occasional face breakouts, he is 14. I am a new distributor and just received my Essential 7 Kit. He had a competition to go to today so last night I put Lavender Oil on his breakouts. This morning he came to me sooo happy and showed me his face. His face is just about clear, you can barely see anything on it at all. I will never be without my lavender oil.

When I got my Essential 7 kit someone shared with me 101 uses for these wonderful oils. One was to mix a few drops of Purification and a few drops of Lemon in a spray bottle with water. I recently scraped my arm on a rusty outside water faucet and was worried about tetanus. I remembered the purification & Lemon spray and treated the arm with this only 2 times and the scrape healed so quickly with no scar or problems. Amazing Oils!

Peppermint is one of my favorite oils. My husband frequently had indigestion problems after a meal and I frequently saw him taking out the baking soda to neutralize the acid. I finally convinced him to try peppermint by putting a drop on his hand and licking it. My husband now carries a bottle of peppermint to work in his lunchbox as well as using it at home when needed.
My second success with peppermint has been for menstrual cramps as attested to by my co-workers and my daughter. Again we just put a drop on our hand and lick it off! Make sure your hands are clean!

For a very long time I was using Tylenol PM to help me sleep. My sister-in-law used Young Living Essential Oils and she suggested I try lavender this night. She rubbed about 3 drops per foot. I slept the best I had slept in years! Now I keep a bottle of Lavender by my bedside at all times. If I wake up at anytime I just rub some more on my forehead and inhale the fumes, it's back to sleep!

Lemon oil rubbed on the outside of my throat releived a very sore dry throat. I needed to dilute the oil with v-6 oil for my children as it gave them an uncomfortable burning sensation, but the sore throat was gone in a matter of minutes.

Whenever I go on a hike or even a short walk, I bring lavender essential oil along with me. If I happen to get a cut, scrape or insect bite, I can apply the oil and it will soothe the area and stop any itching. It's so mild, yet effective. It is so multi-purpose, versatile and useful. Did I even mention the exquisite fragrance? It makes me feel like I'm in the south of France without a care in the world! Don't leave home without lavender!

I always carry lavender in my purse. No matter what the problem, lavender seems to help. I have arthritis and fibro, so I rub it on my painful & numb feet, any sore muscles, my thumbs, knees, shoulders & neck. It helps for relaxation too - I put a drop under my nose or on my earlobes. For a cut or burn, lavender aids in healing (for cold sores too.) If I have any problem and am not sure what oil to use...I depend on my lavender.

My husband suffers from Diverticulosis. When it flares up we have been using peppermint oil to ease the pain and cramping. Several drops of the peppermint oil rubbed on his abdomen where the pain is most intense, followed by a hot compress on the same area, has relieved these symptoms. Prior to using essential oils, my husband was taking a 10 day course of antibiotics every time he had an episode. We have been able to avoid antibiotics for this condition now for the last 5 months. We have experienced the same wonderful results each time we have used the peppermint in this way.

I didn't know how bad I felt until I started using essential oils. The first oil I ever used was lemon oil. I put it on my wrists, and started noticing that my moods were a lot better. Up until that time, I hadn't thought of myself as a depressed person. But, after using the oil for several months, the difference was too obvious to deny it. Wow, who could imagine that a simple essential oil could make that much difference!! That was just the beginning of learning about essential oils and why they benefit a person on so many different levels.

A friend was telling me that she has had a headache every day for the last several years. I suggested that she try Lavender essential oil. She rubbed it behind her ears twice a day and would take an occasional Lavender bath. She reported that she has had no headaches since using the Lavender.
Linda Griffith
I used Purification and Panaway for a wasp sting my husband received and within minutes the swelling stopped along with the pain. A few hours later the pain came back and I just put a few more drops on and instant relief.

I experience minor to moderate hot flashes due to the approach of menopause. If I apply peppermint oil neat to the back of my neck and forehead this makes me feel much cooler.

In the last several years I've had many health problems and amongst them are migranes caused by tension and allergies. My husband was looking into essential oils for ideas on ways of helping me and convinced me to give them a try. I was using the lavender for insomnia only at first. One evening, just before bed, I put some lavender on my temples as usual so as to help me relax. I especially needed the relaxation since I had a migraine. About 5 minutes later I realized that my migraine was completely gone! Since that wonderful discovery I've learned to put lavender on the area on head pain immediately and the headache is always gone in 5 to 10 minutes. It's been a godsend!!

We live in a house that has carpet in the finished basement. It gets very dusty and the air is sort of thick. Before I knew about the oils, I used a dehumidifier and whenever I emptied it I was dismayed by the condition of the water, as it was very murky. After I found YLEO, I bought a cold air diffuser and ran it downstairs in the basement. I used either lemon or Purification oils, as they are the cheapest, smell good, and work really well. I was amazed and happy when I went to empty the dehumidifyer after diffusing oils. The water was crystal clear, I felt like I could easily drink it (though I did not!). This was blatant proof that the oils clean the air and kill nasty bugs. It is also great to diffuse oils in the bedroom of a sick person, (lemon, Thieves, Purification or Exodus) or someone who finds it difficult to sleep, (lavender or Peace and Calming)

I have a new customer thanks to the way Peace & Calming has helped her daughter in school! My friend was ready to tear her hair out because her daughter was bringing home class work every day from school. She couldn't finish it all in class like her classmates did, so she had to bring it home. And even then she had a hard time getting it done. When the elementary-aged child was given a regimen with Peace & Calming things changed drastically! Her mother tells me that it has changed her life! No longer does her daughter have to bring class work home - she finishes her work during class just like her classmates do! Just put a couple of drops of the Peace & Calming on the feet and/or temples in the morning and again in the afternoon or at night time.

My white towels tend to get rather, well, used looking, probably due to the oils and lotions that I always have on. Even though their labels say 'No chlorine bleach' and I don't like to use chlorine bleach, that's been the only thing that got them clean.
Last week, I remembered that oil attracts oil and so used about 30 drops of lemon oil instead of the chlorine bleach. It worked like a charm, the towels are white and soft, and no chlorine bleach smell or residue!
Susan Atchison
I have had Restless Leg Syndrome for years and my neurologist prescribed medications for Parkinson's. They didn't work very well as I had to take them at the exact time every night. If I took them too early or too late before bedtime they actually kept me awake. I also felt very groggy in the morning.
My office manager told me that she had problems sleeping, that she would 'twitch' all night but found relief in using Peace & Calming that her sister told her about. I wasn't too sure, but was willing to try anything! I had been sleeping in the spare bedroom for months because I was disrupting my husband's sleep.
I was told to put one drop on the bottom of each foot at bedtime. I tried it and found it really works well when I put the drop behind each knee as the twitching seems to come from my calves. I haven't slept this well in years! I am anxious to try more of the other products because I also suffer from cluster migraine headaches. Thanks for some much sought-after relief with no side-effects!

I use Purification oil in a spray bottle to clean my house. I put 4-5 drops of purification oil in a spray bottle. When I use it to clean my bathroom, it gets rid of hardwater stain in the toilet bowl and keeps them from coming back in between cleanings. I use it to clean my sink and tub and it gets rid of hardwater stains on the shower in the grout of the tile. I also use this oil to clean my kitchen floor, countertops, stove and stainless steel appliances. The purification oil gives a fresh clean uplifting smell while you are using it and leaves that nice fresh scent when you are finished. And you get healthful benefits from smelling it while you are using it. And I don't have to worry about the harmful side effects from using those harsh, toxic chemicals or the headaches that I used to experience from using other cleaners to clean my house. And you can be sure that you are disinfecting your house as well. I recently disposed of all of my toxic cleaners. I have shared this information with others and they are very happy with the results they get from using the purification oil. I can then take the same spray bottle outside and spray myself to keep the mosquitoes away!!

I've suffered for many years with depression and moodswings that were classified as bipolar disorder. I took an assortment of prescription drugs that didn't do anything except make me gain weight and get more miserable! When I started using Young Living Essential Oils my whole life changed. I use alot of peppermint, lavender, peace and calming, and frankincense. I've been off meds for a year and only suffer with the normal moodswings one may get in life!! More recently I was introduced to the blend Hope, it contains Melissa which is great for deprression.

My husband puts the volume on the TV so loud, that it disturbs me, although I am two rooms away. I read someone's testimony here that her daughter's hearing improved using the Lavender Oil. so I started applying the Lavender Oil behind my husband's ears, on the skull, not the ear, and within three days he started keeping the volume so low on the TV, that I have to go in to make sure the TV is on and that he didnt just fall asleep. Incredible. Wonderful.
Lynne Marshall
I diffuse Peace & Calming Blend at home during the evenings and at work in my office during the day. I find that I am calmer at work which is a stressful place. I also find that I become more relaxed during the evenings and am more easily able to let the stresses of the day go. I have also noticed that my cat seems to enjoy this blend and frequently goes to sleep right in front of the diffuser.

I had an amazing experience with lavender oil. I had a basal cell carcinoma on my chest (Skin cancer). After it was removed, I developed a keloid (overgrown scar tissue) which was very itchy. I went back to the doctor, who injected me with steroids, to minimize the scaring. Unfortunately, he put too much in and the skin atrophied all around the area, leaving me with a hole about the size of the end of my little finger, in the middle of my chest. I went to a new dermatologist, who said that further treatment might make matters worse. I had heard about the healing properties of lavender so wanted to try it. I put it on twice a day for two weeks, and the entire hole 'closed up'. My skin was completely smooth with no sign of a hole at all.

I have a condition known as Angio Edema. It creates hives on the skin that both raise above the skin but below and the itching result is misserable. With the application of Purification diluted with grapeseed oil 2 to 3 times a day the skin is healing and the nagging itch is gone. Purification is a cinch to help with mosquito bites too.
Connie Lawrence
I use Lavender often to relieve itching on my skin, any breaks in my skin, bruises disappear quickly, & heals up quickly. I use it to help me sleep at night by putting some on my forhead & wrists.
Carole Cox
My husband is a very loud snorer and has bad sleep apnea. When I got into the oils we decided to see if anything would help. We now use Valor, Lavender and Peace and Calming every night. Have put it on bottom of his feet or around his ears, both seem to work as well. It has eased both of the problems but on some nights I have to defuse Lavender and Peace and Calming also. I am so thankful to have found essential oils.
