Tenaya Farm is a holistic and natural environment for horses. The farm has large pastures and shelters, access to a barn with stalls, and excellent care. I only wish I lived closer, because I'd be there every day! A very healthy environment with a wonderful easy-going community of boarders that range from parelli advocates to massage therapists, to natural hoof trimmers. Sherry LaMarche and Jeff Olczak operate Tenaya farms and have backgrounds in natural hoofcare, essential oils, holistic horse-keeping and more. If you have a horse who needs to rehab from lameness, this is the best place to be!

Flanery Farms offers both pasture board and stall board. Pasture board includes free-choice hay and plenty of herdmates. Stall board includes all-day turnout in large fields with herdmates. They are currently building a large lean-to for the pasture horses. Small indoor heated arena with viewing room, large outdoor riding ring with lights, wash rack and plenty of property to ride on.

The horses are on 24/7 pasture in the summer with free access to the barn. If you like a quiet trail-riding atmosphere, this is it. The horses have free-choice round bales all year long and access to a large run-in barn. Galusha is right next to the forest preserve and there's plenty of land and trails for riding.
